Job summary

Alamo Structural Steel, LLC is a leading structural steel fabricator in Texas, seeking a Processing Clerk to manage production data, inventory control, and shipping documentation. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, process documentation, and cross-functional support to keep fabrication workflows running smoothly.

Minimum starting salary is $19.00/hr, with schedule Mon-Thu 7:45am–5:15pm and Fri 8:00am–3:00pm. Prior Tekla EPM experience is preferred; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience handling high-volume data entry with low error margins.
• Strong background in commercial record-keeping and office organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using Tekla EPM / EPM Go is preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming structural drawings and input data into the production control database with accuracy.
• Maintain Tekla EPM documentation to ensure shop visibility.
• Audit BOMs for accuracy and correct database records.
• Reconcile system inventory with physical counts on the shop floor.
• Coordinate inventories and generate variance reports for management.
• Reconcile purchase orders against packing lists upon material receipt.
• Generate ad-hoc reports for scheduling and metrics.
• Prepare and audit shop cut lists and digitize production folders.
• Create shipping tickets and track transfers to external fabricators.
• Archive shipping tickets and logistics paperwork.
