Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Generalist Inventory & Process at the West Hershey plant to help guarantee data accuracy across inventory, production reporting, and plant accounting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will oversee cycle counts, reconciliations, and discrepancies, partner with IT and operations, and support monthly close and cost center reviews while driving efficiency and internal controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in accounting, inventory control, or plant finance.
• Experience with inventory reconciliations and reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis.
• Ability to adapt to flexible work hours during inventories and close cycles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory processes across Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Storeroom.
• Conduct cycle counts, physical inventory support, and reconciliations.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies including GR/IR and cost issues.
• Support production reporting and analytics; review variances and downtime.
• Serve as S4 site resource; troubleshoot system issues with IT.
• Support plant accounting including fixed assets and monthly reporting.
• Assist cross-functional teams with reporting and training.
