Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s Degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory, or similar role.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report inventory levels and on-hand quantities to prevent stockouts and overstock.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure inventory management aligns with LIFO/FIFO requirements.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in counts and records.
  • Synchronize inventory records across systems.
  • Document and report shipping errors.
  • Identify obsolete or slow-moving inventory and communicate it.
  • Collaborate with quality on red tag or off-spec material disposition.
  • Generate regular inventory KPI reports for management.
  • Follow procedures to improve inventory management efficiency.

Job Summary

This role ensures a continuous and efficient flow of raw materials and finished goods to support production schedules and service demand. The Inventory Planner will collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure inventory is accurate and controlled systematically

Essential Duties
  • Monitor and report on inventory levels and on-hand quantities to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy between system records and physical stock.
  • Ensure inventory is managed according to LIFO/FIFO requirements.
  • Identify and resolve simple discrepancies in inventory counts and records.
  • Ensure inventory records are synchronized across business systems.
  • Assist in documenting and reporting shipping errors.
  • Identify and communicate obsolete, outdated, or slow-moving inventory.
  • Collaborate with quality regarding red tag or off-spec material to ensure adequate segregation and disposition.
  • Assist in generating regular reports on inventory status and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management.

Qualifications Required
  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • Associate’s Degree preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in a supply chain, inventory, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Basic proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP)

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.

Base Salary Range: $56,000-$77,000
