Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. invites applications for an Inventory Planner role within the Furniture division, focused on building bottom-up quarterly plans, open-to-buy and margin optimization. You will partner with merchandising, sourcing, and eCommerce to drive sales growth and inventory turn from Portland.

You will maintain sku-level forecasts in JustEnough, analyze plan vs. actuals, and support pricing actions, new product launches, and exits across channels while ensuring accurate margins.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years prior experience in inventory planning and management.
• Experience in retail is required.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
• Strong retail math acumen including markup, margin and Open-to-Buy.
• Proven analytical and business planning capabilities.
• Well-organized, detail oriented, able to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Onsite work in the Portland, OR area as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reporting for weekly cross-functional business reviews.
• Summarize backorder positions and forecast variances.
• Analyze large variances to forecast and LY.
• Support monthly Open-to-Buy and pricing actions with merch.
• Maintain SKU-level forecasts in JustEnough software.
• Build monthly reorder recommendations aligned with OTB.
