Job summary

RH is seeking an Inventory Planner in Corte Madera, CA to drive both pre-season and in-season planning across departments, collections and SKUs. You will analyze historical data, identify opportunities, build sales and investment plans, and partner with Merchandising to align product strategies with financial targets.

This role focuses on forecasting demand, setting receipts, and managing open-to-buy activities to ensure accurate flow forecasts and timely execution of inventory initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Season Inventory Planning: Analyze historical data and trends to identify opportunities and risks by department, subclass, collection and SKU; create department level plans; develop collection and SKU level sales plan with supporting investment quantities and accurate flow forecasts; reconcile top down to bottom up financial plans; balance workload priorities; collaborate with Merchandising to support product strategies.
• In-Season Inventory Planning: Demand forecasting at department, subclass, collection and SKU level; forecast sales and inventory and develop strategies to maximize opportunities and mitigate risk; calculate receipt needs based on inventories and rate of sale and present buying strategies and inventory investments to senior leadership; complete open-to-buy activities at department and subclass level for all key metrics and present action plans during monthly OTB meetings; manage the on order pipeline of goods and negotiate flow requirements with vendors

  • Develop and build collection and sku level sales plan with supporting investment quantities and accurate flow forecasts.
