Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Birmingham is seeking an Inventory Pharmacy Technician to manage bi daily inventory, check in orders, stock shelves, and support multiple departments in a fast-paced, high-accuracy environment in Birmingham, AL. The role is onsite at a closed-door facility and requires strong computer skills and attention to detail.

You will monitor inventory, perform cycle counts, and assist with process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and workflow in the pharmacy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration is required by state; National Certification (PTCB) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check in, receive and stock daily orders.
• Organize inventory on shelves and ensure labeling.
• Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Maintain inventory levels and restock from overstock as needed.
• Update NDCs to keep pharmacy system accurate.
• Assist with filling/packaging prescriptions as needed.
