Job summary

Bobrick Washroom Equipment, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Assistant to support packaging and inventory for toilet partition hardware. The role emphasizes accurate picking, stock organization, and timely distribution to the packing area in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will use computer systems for receiving, tracking orders, and updating inventory, while following safety procedures and collaborating with production and shipping teams to maintain flow and quality.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: A high school diploma or GED is required; additional education or training in inventory management or supply chain logistics is a plus.
• Language Skills: Able to read, write, verbalize in English and follow instructions.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic math for measurements and calculations; convert units.

Responsibilities

• Learning and adhering to safety protocols.
• Performing quality checks during hardware picking to ensure correct quantities and standards.
• Communicating with production, purchasing, shipping, and team members to coordinate hardware requirements.
• Transferring materials from receiving to storage and documenting quantities received or distributed.
• Sorting and storing materials by size/type/product code; rotating stock using FIFO.
• Picking, scanning, and packing hardware according to job/brand requirements; securing packages with tape.
