Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking an Inventory Specialist to ensure materials are available when needed, support SAP processes, and improve inventory accuracy.

You will forecast needs, release requisitions and production orders, manage Kanban materials, and lead cycle counts with cross‑functional teams.

Based on on-site in Voorheesville, NY, this role emphasizes collaboration, data‑driven optimization, and on‑time delivery of commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles, Kanban, and cycle counting.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret inventory trends and usage data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy above 98% through cycle counts, reconciliation, and process improvements.
• Analyze inventory trends, forecast needs, and adjust reorder points and safety stock.
• Manage SCF6 inventory and identify opportunities for material reuse.
• Release purchase requisitions and production orders for inventory and Kanban materials.
• Coordinate stock allocations and inventory requirements with Planning, Engineering, and Procurement.
• Lead inventory review meetings and partner across functions to address inventory needs and risks.
• Drive improvements that increase inventory accuracy, material availability, and operational efficiency.
