Job summary

Gold Rush Liquor is seeking an Inventory Management Specialist for the Brown Jug Fairbanks location. The role involves receiving inventory, performing cycle counts, and ensuring accurate invoicing and back stock management while delivering high levels of customer service.

You will handle cashier tasks, assist customers, stock shelves, and participate in merchandising and store maintenance. The position requires a valid TAP or Rserving Certification and a HS diploma; alcohol compliance and safety

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in retail environment (preferred, not required).
• Minimum of 1-year supervisory and/or management experience (preferred).
• Experience in inventory control and receiving.
• Experience with counting inventory.
• Organization with paperwork, invoices, credits and Purchase Orders.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments, check them in to verify accuracy in cost and items.
• Complete Cycle Counts by each deadline.
• Create Purchase Orders.
• Stock shelves and cooler with product.
• Participate in merchandising and promotional activities.
• Participate in routine store maintenance and cleaning.
