Job summary

BuyWander is seeking an Assistant General Manager of Inventory in Portland, OR to own store execution and inventory flow. This is a leadership role with clear ownership of every unit from arrival to customer-ready.

As AGM, you will partner with the General Manager to translate business expectations into daily warehouse actions, drive safety and efficiency, and develop warehouse supervisors and staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in retail, etail, warehouse, logistics, inventory management, or distribution operations.
• Experience building and scaling warehouse operations in a growing company.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Clear communicator who surfaces problems and drives solutions.
• Comfortable with technology, including inventory systems and barcoding tools.

Responsibilities

• Own inbound-to-fulfillment flow across a multimillion-dollar operation.
• Lead warehouse supervisors and associates across receiving, processing, put-away, picking, and fulfillment.
• Build and execute the daily labor deployment plan and adjust in real time.
• Identify bottlenecks and recovery plans before issues escalate.
• Develop SOPs for receiving, processing, picking, staging, and warehouse operations.
