Texas Department of Transportation is seeking an Inventory & Store Specialist at the Post Regional Supply Center in Post, TX to manage inventory and support distribution operations. The role includes receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, with forklift duties and safety compliance.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and 1 year of warehouse experience; a valid driver's license is required. The position is full-time with standard day shifts and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, warehouse experience preferred.
• 1 year in warehouse operations and forklift experience required or prorated.
• Driver's license and ability to drive a state vehicle required.
• Experience with PeopleSoft and Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receiving, storing, issuing, and distributing materials.
• Process inventory transactions and research discrepancies for accuracy.
• Fulfill customer orders by picking, packing, labeling, and preparing for shipment.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Perform cycle counts, spot inventories, and annual physical inventories.
