Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Vacaville, CA is seeking a Material Handler to safely move, store, and stage materials in our warehouse and production environment. You will operate forklifts, perform accurate order picking, and maintain inventory integrity to support on-time delivery and product quality.

This role requires at least 6 months of manufacturing or distribution experience, a HS diploma or GED, and the ability to read and communicate in English.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Perform accurate order picking, staging, loading, and unloading of materials.
• Ensure proper placement, storage, and rotation of inventory to maintain accuracy.
• Build quality crates and load materials to prevent damage during storage/transportation.
• Stage materials in preparation for shipment and production use.
• Unload and load trailers and flatbeds using appropriate equipment and safe practices.
• Set up materials and racks to support production needs.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and safety inspections on equipment.
• Identify material or safety issues and communicate promptly.
