Job summary

Varex Imaging in Salt Lake City seeks a dependable Material Handler II to support manufacturing through accurate inventory management, timely delivery of components, and strict adherence to 5S and safety standards. The role requires detail orientation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will move parts from the cage to production, perform ERP/WMS transactions, assist cycle counts, and help improve material flow while maintaining traceability and inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing, warehouse, or inventory control preferred.
• Ability to read part numbers, labels, and work instructions accurately.
• Experience with ERP/inventory systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pull, stage, and deliver parts to production lines.
• Record material movements and inventory adjustments in ERP/WMS.
• Receive, stock, and organize cage materials.
• Support cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Monitor usage and report shortages.
• Maintain 5S and safety standards.
• Respond quickly to production requests to minimize downtime.
• Assist continuous improvement of material flow.
• Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies.
• Investigate transaction errors.
• Participate in root-cause investigations.
• Prioritize production requests independently.
