Emerson is seeking a Material Planning and Inventory Intern for Spring 2027 in St. Louis, MO or Knoxville, TN. You will support the Systems & Software business unit by driving operational efficiency through data analysis and process development.

You will work on planning optimization, ERP/MRP tools, and cross-functional collaboration, gaining hands-on experience in a global manufacturing environment. This internship emphasizes learning, mentorship, and real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in business, supply chain, or engineering.
• Currently enrolled at an accredited college/university and entering Junior, Senior, or Graduate year.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not provided.

Responsibilities

• Identify planning methods, tools, and programs to optimize material flow to meet business requirements.
• Understand ERP/MRP and other systems to support operational demands.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify programs to improve and automate processes.
