Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in the United States is seeking a Material Handler to perform routine material handling, inventory checks, and basic stock management tasks. Responsibilities include processing orders, rotating stock, and preparing materials for orders with emphasis on accuracy and timely fulfillment.

The role requires reading in English, basic math skills, and strong interpersonal abilities, with an emphasis on urgency and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Must have basic math skills (addition/subtraction) and strong interpersonal skills.
• Must have a high sense of urgency and be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Input daily item orders and perform daily stock checks as well as customer pickups as needed.
• Ensure inventory items are counted, rotated and replenished daily and all procedures are followed.
• Stock and inventory product on carts or within assigned areas and manages par levels. Check for compromised products and expired inventory.
• Receive inbound materials and marks materials with identifying information; record amount of material received; sort materials and stock on racks, shelves or bins in accordance with predetermined sequence such as size, color, type, or product code. Arrange materials for order assembly.
• Quality control, moving carts to and from loading docks, and operation of material handling equipment as needed.
• Assist with any customer requests while maintaining a high level of customer service.
