Job summary

Responsibilities

• Receives and unpacks materials and supplies.
• Unloads shipments as required and checks goods against bills of lading/packing slips.
• Verifies nomenclature, identification, and quantity of goods.
• Routes material to inspection, stores, or other destinations.
• Enters/retrieves data from the purchasing system and scans documents to cloud storage.
• Provides backup support for the stockroom and related duties as assigned.

Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and returned products.

Responsibilities

• Receives and unpacks piece parts and raw materials
• Unloads LTL shipments as required
• Checks goods against bills of lading, packing slips, etc.
• Verifies nomenclature, identification, and quantity of goods
• Routes material to inspection, stores, or other destinations
• Scans documents into cloud based server as required
• Enters/retrieves data from computerized purchasing system.
• Back up for Stockroom
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Ability to lift packages up to 50lbs
• Working knowledge of purchasing and shipping computer system preferred.
• Prior experience of working with delivery drivers preferred.
