Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. is seeking an Inventory Management Specialist for the Fort Worth Logistics Center. You will create cycle count documents in SAP/ECC, initiate re-counts, and reconcile inventory with SAP/CAMS/Visiprise to ensure accurate stock levels.

You will collaborate with CSS Spares Sales, International Supply Centers, COE Materials Managers, Procurement, and Spare teams, participating in audits and process improvements as needed.

Qualifications

• Four years of college, or equivalent in aircraft technical courses leading to A&P license, plus three and a half years experience in inventory control or related manufacture liaison work.
• Three years of customer support experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Two extra years of qualifying experience may substitute for two years of education.

Summary of Work Performed:

The Inventory Management Specialist ensures that documents and inventory at the Fort Worth Logistics Center are properly tracked and monitored within the SAP/ECC system. To this end, the Inventory Management Specialist shall perform the following duties with respect to inventory. 1. Monitor active cycle counts to confirm they are completed and reconciled in a timely manner. 2. Support internal and external audits by creating and reconciling cycle counts based on auditor specific criteria, providing relevant documentation, escorting auditors, and drafting audit responses if directed or required. 3. Coordinate with groups including CSS Spares sales, International Supply Centers, Center Of Excellence (COE) Material Managers, Procurement, and Spare.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create Cycle count documents in SAP/ECC system

• Initiate re-counts as required in SAP

• Perform reconciliations of inventory documents and stock adjustments as required in accordance with Textron Policies

• Research SAP transactions to determine proper inventory levels

• Monitor cycle counts completions to ensure all bins are counted each year in accordance with Textron Policies

• Research customer returns to assist Customer Property Return (CPR) personnel in timely processing of Return Material Authorization (RMA’s)

• Research and verify inventory in SAP/CAMS/Visiprise

• Create Stock Transport Orders (STO) for quality Unplanned Rework Order (URO)/Return to Vendor (RTV) process for 3980/3999

• Assist in reconciliation of inventory from customer complaints (VOC)

• If required, ensure commercial convenience kits are customer ready with necessary parts

• If Audits, add final notes for issue resolution and close Return Material Authorization (RMA’s)

• Where directed or required by Management participate in collaborative sessions with Management and other employees to assist and contribute to the development of new processes and existing process improvements.

Qualifications

Other Requirements:

Four years of college, or equivalent in aircraft technical courses leading to A&P license, plus three and one-half (3 1/2) years experience in similar work as described above or three and one-half (3 1/2) years experience in manufacture liaison work; aircraft inventory control functions of a higher nature equivalent to those described above, aircraft mechanical experience in field service work wherein a comprehensive knowledge of aircraft parts and application of same has been gained. Three years of customer support experience. Must be comfortable and communicate effectively in a customer facing role. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel)

Two Additional years of qualifying experience in similar work as described above may be substituted for two years educational requirements.
