Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a DoW SkillBridge intern in Palm Bay, FL to gain civilian work experience in inventory and logistics. You will learn to coordinate domestic and international shipments, prepare government documents, and analyze transportation movements as part of a structured DoW SkillBridge program.

The internship focuses on SAP WMS/TMS, compliance with CFR requirements, and hands-on material handling with safety training.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments using government regulations to support transportation processes.
• Process government shipments using WAWF, EASE, ETA, and GBL; handle export documents and EEI filings.
• Create and manage government docs (DD250, DD1348), bills of lading and AWBs to move goods.
• Prepare detailed reports on movements, logistics savings, and carrier scorecards; communicate with internal/external contacts to resolve issues.
