Job summary

D&B Supply in Kentucky is seeking a Material Handler to load, unload, and stock merchandise across our distribution and sales floors. You will help maintain inventory levels and operate material handling equipment.

The role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift 25–75 pounds; a high school diploma or GED is required. Forklift certification is preferred but not required; valid driver’s license and clean driving record are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
• Experience with inventory systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, load, unload, count, weigh, measure, code and store materials on or from freight vehicles.
• Move material using hand tools and equipment including pallet jacks, dollies, and forklifts when needed.
• Open crates, boxes and cartons using hammers and cutting tools.
• Wrap and secure material on pallets for distribution.
• Stock shelves and sales floor to maintain inventory visibility.
• Assist in periodic inventory checks and report discrepancies.
• Support in housekeeping and safe operation of equipment.
• Assist with documentation and reporting of inbound freight.
