Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking an Inventory Control professional to manage stock levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate data in our systems. The role requires high school education and some relevant inventory experience, with forklift proficiency and a focus on maintaining strong internal controls.

The position involves audits, reports, and continuous improvement activities to optimize materials flow from purchasing to finished goods.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform transactions in business system(s) to assure accurate tracking of product inventories.
• Conduct physical inventory audits, cycle counts, damaged material management, and waste tracking and disposal as needed.
• Resolves inventory inconsistencies and maintains data integrity.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives for inventory management processes and information flow.
• Prepares required business reports.

About The Opportunity

Records and maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.

Essential Job Functions

The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned. Performs transactions in business system(s) to assure accurate tracking of product inventories Conducts physical inventory audits, job packet review, cycle counts, damaged material management, and waste tracking and disposal as needed Resolves inventory inconsistencies Participates in continuous improvement initiatives for inventory management process and information flow Prepares required business reports.

Education & Experience

High School Degree or Equivalent preferred Some relevant experience required

• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Knowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between the purchase of raw materials and delivery of finished products
• Ability to effectively manage the business relationship and transactions with the suppliers of raw materials or product components
• Knowledge of issues and considerations for effectively managing local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work in progress and finished goods
• Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the manufacturing cycle
• Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting Frequent walking and standing required Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. Must have Stand-Up Forklift Experience.
