Job summary

Uptown Cheapskate Charlottesville is seeking an energetic Inventory Lead to keep our stores stocked, organized and running smoothly. This hands-on role focuses on inventory control, floor presentation, and timely restocking to drive sales.

You will manage daily push tests, tag and sort merchandise, monitor overstock and shortages, assist with markdowns, and coordinate donations. Lifting up to 75 lbs is required while maintaining fast, accurate operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with retail inventory systems and procedures
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong organizational and counting skills

Responsibilities

• Run daily push tests to identify items to restock on the floor
• Pull inventory and fill empty spaces on the sales floor
• Track overstocked or understocked items and communicate with the team
• Label, organize, and sort merchandise for easy access
• Manage digital inventory and perform monthly checks
• Assist with markdowns and sales preparation
• Organize and coordinate donation pickups
• Lift and move bins up to 75 lbs as needed
