Job summary

Nordstrom Inc is seeking a logistics processor to independently handle receiving, unloading, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments. You will fulfill customer orders quickly while maintaining quality standards and assisting in store operations.

Responsibilities include packing/shipping, using inventory systems, keeping stockrooms organized, and supporting events or fixture relocations. A proactive, flexible team player is expected in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
• Fulfill customer orders promptly following quality standards.
• Prepare and ship customer orders according to packing and shipping standards.
• Use inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments.
• Assist in maintaining clean, organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Provide general store support, e.g., setting up events and relocating fixtures.
