Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a warehouse associate to support receiving, storage, and distribution activities at our Bethpage location. The role includes verifying deliveries against orders, inspecting items for damage, unloading, stocking, packing, and loading deliveries, and maintaining accurate records in the computer system.

The candidate should be able to lift more than 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and follow written instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior related experience is preferred; ability to lift/carry material over 50 pounds.
• Stand, bend, lift and reach for extended periods.
• Understand basic math and inventory flow; follow written/electronic instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving duties by verifying deliveries against purchase orders and inspecting items.
• Unload and unpack items; transport and store them in correct warehouse locations.
• Prepare and pack items for delivery; load items onto vehicles per policy.
• Complete paperwork and enter data into the department system; operate forklifts and other equipment.
