Job summary

Simplot is seeking a Deployment Analyst at its Boise headquarters to determine target inventory levels and support customer sales across the Forward Distribution Center and regional warehouses.

The role focuses on achieving inventory turn objectives, meeting fill rates, and optimizing mode mix. It requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related experience with strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; relevant experience will also be considered.
• 3+ years related experience and/or training.
• Broad knowledge of distribution and warehousing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Computer competency in databases and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory levels by SKU daily and advise on out-of-stock situations with solutions.
• Monitor weekly and forecasted sales; determine restocking by quantity/time/mode/origin.
• Manage inventory targets to achieve space availability and low-cost inbound deployment.
• Enter stocking orders to deploy inventory to replenish Forward Distribution Center to target.
• Monitor inventory draw and replenishment patterns and report corrective actions.
• Research and communicate inventory discrepancies.
