Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking an inventory-focused role in Mocksville to support production and purchasing by maintaining accuracy, performing cycle counts and posting movements. You will operate data entry, use company software, and collaborate with purchasing to align material availability with production schedules.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write and understand work instructions, production standards and Company communications.
Ability to work overtime as needed to meet business needs.
Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate with all levels of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract in all units of measure using whole numbers.
Ability to measure, read, and interpret a tape measure.
Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a forklift operator’s license.

Responsibilities

Be courteous and maintain a good working relation with supervisors, team leaders, and co-workers.
Read, comprehend, interpret and follow production safety and quality standards.
Perform data entry and be proficient in company computer/software programs.
Verify inventory accuracy printed versus actual.
Utilize and monitor inventory systems to meet accuracy requirements.
Stays current on inventory status of materials and parts for production schedule.
Report scrap and excess material usage and adjust records to match systems.
Post and record inventory movement and usage; suggest BOM adjustments.
