Inventory Data Analyst
On-Site Role
Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Inventory Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring all company locations effectively manage inventory to maximize profits and enhance customer service. Acting as a consultant to company representatives, this role provides guidance on best practices in inventory management and operations, including the prevention, identification, and resolution of excess inventory. As a change agent, the Inventory Data Analyst promotes new inventory disciplines and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. The position collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement programs that increase operational efficiency, leveraging analysis of past, present, and future data trends. The role also supports compliance with audit programs, delivers critical inventory training, and contributes to the annual inventory business plan. This is an on-site position with no supervisory or budgetary responsibilities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Enforce inventory policies and procedures in daily communication with field leadership
• Oversee data governance and control distribution of inventory data points
• Ensure full compliance with audit policies for the Obsolescence Program and Physical/DC Mock Inventory
• Analyze data to identify new insights, trends, and solutions for complex supply chain problems
• Create automated dashboards using current or future tools to support inventory management
• Collaborate with all areas of the supply chain to identify and address inventory opportunities
• Build simulation models to forecast outcomes of changes to policies or procedures
• Deliver comprehensive reports in both presentation and written formats
• Work with the IT Department to enhance current and future inventory systems
• Develop and deliver critical inventory training sessions to relevant stakeholders
• Support excess inventory initiatives and participate in the annual inventory business plan
• Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, analytics, or equivalent field work experience
• Experience managing projects
• Background in quantitative thinking and statistical data analysis
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, and SQL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced PowerPoint design and presentation skills
• Experience with data BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik)
• Ability to create automated dashboards and simulation models
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
