Job summary

Gildan is seeking an Inventory Control professional to locate and verify bulk and finished goods in the reserve warehouse using RF scanning technology. You will identify and correct scanning errors, then escalate patterns of discrepancies to the Inventory Control supervisor.

The role may require bending to access inventory and lifting 30+ pounds, with responsibilities across both Cleveland and Canterbury facilities.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing literate.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems (AS400) a plus.
• Forklift license, basic RF scanner knowledge a plus.
• Ability to stand 6 to 7 hours each day; lift 30+ pounds.
• Knowledge of inventory status a plus; will work at both facilities Cleveland and Canterbury.

Responsibilities

• Locate specified bulk and finished goods cases in reserve warehouse using RF scanner.
• Determine and correct errors on cases scanned.
• Report recurring trends of discrepancies with inventory to Inventory Control supervisor.
• Perform any other duties as specified by supervisor.
