Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a warehouse inventory associate in Phoenix. The role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory through cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and supporting optimization efforts within a fast-paced logistics environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel. Attention to safety, accuracy, and timely reporting will be essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• PC-literate with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to physically count articles on shelves, racks and pallets.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs.
• Counts and reconciles randomly chosen items and locations daily.
• Assists in developing solutions to shortages, overages and discrepancies.
• Compiles, verifies, and reports periodic statistics to management about inventory-related trends.
• Assists in compiling data for special projects as requested by supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with inventory processes, procedures and contractual obligations.
• Other duties as required and assigned.
