Job summary

New South Express (NSE) - Honda Logistics of North America is seeking a Cycle Counter to maintain inventory accuracy and support physical inventory requirements. The role requires forklift/tugger operation, strong communication, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced production environment.

The successful candidate will monitor receiving areas, document irregularities, and ensure safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Post-high school education (2-4 year degree in Operations Management) or equivalent experience.
• Ability to interact professionally with customers and associates.
• Ability to lead project teams and present information to management.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work any shift, holidays, weekends, or overtime as needed.
• Must pass hair follicle testing and badging process.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy and integrity.
• Anticipate problems and apply preventative solutions.
• Complete daily cycle counts, receipt adjustments, and support physical inventory.
• Achieve daily production targets.
• Operate forklift and tugger.
• Document abnormal findings using Microsoft Office.
• Present information to a large group of associates.
• Enforce policies and procedures and support daily production and projects.
• Maintain a clean work area (5S) at shift end.
