Job summary

American Axle & Mfg., Inc. is seeking a part-time Tool Crib Attendant to support Operations and Indirect Purchasing. You will maintain stock levels via MRP replenishment to maximum stock levels, perform cycle counts, and collaborate with suppliers on cost reductions.

The role includes weekend shifts (10pm–10am or 10am–10pm) and occasional cross-site coverage. You will barcode materials, assist with inventory accuracy, and interface with maintenance, facilities, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Associates degree is preferred.
• 1 year manufacturing experience is preferred.
• SAP MRP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock levels through MRP replenishment to maximum stock levels.
• Perform cycle counts and audits for inventory accuracy.
• Barcode materials and locations for scanning.
• Support stock-out issues and cost reductions with suppliers.
• Process mail shipments and repairs of spare parts.
• Fill in for both plant locations and on different shifts.
• Interface with Maintenance, Facilities, Operations and Engineering teams daily.
• Identify and execute Continuous Improvement Projects.
