Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) is seeking an Accountant to join the Operations Finance team. You will research and analyze accounting data, prepare journal entries, and compile reports while supporting inventory analysis and cost variances.

The role offers a hybrid schedule with in-person work Monday-Wednesday at Greene NY or Muscatine IA and remote work Thursday-Friday after training, with typical 8 AM–5 PM hours. Relocation may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Aid in month-end closing with journal entries and reporting.
• Reconcile inventory balances and research discrepancies.
• Analyze costing variances and material usage.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting efficiency.
• Crosstrain with other Functions within Operations Finance.
• Maintain internal controls and data integrity per GAAP.
