Job summary

Sodexo is hiring an Inventory Coordinator at Indiana State University. The role focuses on inventory compliance, timely allocations, and accurate recordkeeping across warehouse and food & beverage storage areas.

You’ll enter data into the inventory system and support discrepancy resolution with campus staff. The position requires 1–2 years in inventory, purchasing, or warehouse operations, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site storerooms by receiving, verifying, packing, sorting, and organizing inventory.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, verify specifications and pricing, obtain approvals, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Review discrepancy reports for credits or returns; resolve inventory issues with relevant personnel.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure FIFO compliance; perform bin-to-bin transfers as needed.

This role assists with the organization, tracking, and reconciliation of inventory across all warehouse and food & beverage storage areas, ensuring accurate recordkeeping of incoming and outgoing products, and performing data entry for inventory systems.
