Job summary

Atkore International is seeking an Inventory Coordinator based at our Cartersville Regional Distribution Center. You will maintain inventory records, run cycle counts, manage ERP data, and support accuracy across the warehouse.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of inventory experience in a warehouse setting, strong computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. We offer a competitive pay range of $44,880 to $61,710 plus benefits and 401k.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years inventory experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Proficient with computers, inventory software programs, Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to lift and manipulate up to 30 lbs and work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.
• Perform daily cycle counts to keep the RDC in compliance.
• Assist with adjustments to reconcile inventory in ERP system.
• Assist in tracking, sorting, and labeling inventory as needed.
• Help perform critical inventory tasks to ensure correct stock levels.
• Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of paperwork.
• Partner with accounts receivables to ensure transactions are accounted for.
• Manufacture product and returns in local ERP system.
• Collaborate with operations leadership to identify inventory improvements.
• Provide data and trends to drive inventory improvements.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for an Inventory Coordinator to be based out of our Cartersville Regional Distribution Center. This person will be responsible for maintaining inventory, supplies, or products, including recording new items within the warehouse. This person will also track orders, materials, backorders, or new products that come into and goes out of the inventory via inventory records.

The ideal candidate will have a 3-5 years of inventory experience in a warehouse environment. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.

What you’ll do:

• Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts

• Provide data and trends to operations leadership to drive improvements to inventory
• Ensure safety guidelines are strictly followed
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

What you’ll bring:

• A positive attitude focused on safety, quality, and engagement
• 3-5 years inventory experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Proficient with computers, inventory software programs, Microsoft Office, and local ERP software
• Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail and immediately notice any discrepancies regarding inventory and finances
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment while creating solutions to previously unsolved issues
• Ability to lift and manipulate up to 30lbs and assist in team lift of 31+ pounds

Within 3 months, you’ll:

Within 6 months, you’ll:

• Partner with teams to achieve goals laid out for the year
• Be able to do all day-to-day functions of inventory with minimal follow-up
• Be sufficient in utilizing all WMS software and systems

Within 12 months, you’ll:

• Be able to resolve any discrepancies or inventory issues daily
• Assist with training and development of inventory processes

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $ 44,880 - $61,710 . Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
