Job summary

The Timken Company is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory/Shipping Associate in Keene, NH. This full-time DayShift role handles inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving to support Timken Aerospace operations.

Responsibilities include ERP transactions, cycle counts, material handling, and ensuring regulatory compliance. A high school diploma and strong attention to detail are required; forklift certification and SAP/Tradesphere experience are a plus.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and understand prints, process sheets, and engineering specifications.
  • Basic mathematics and mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic computer interface skills are required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task and coordinate work.
  • Strong ability to follow written instructions and procedures.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
  • Good verbal and written communication; capable of training others.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records by performing daily ERP transactions.
  • Issue components to assembly to satisfy daily schedules with proper records.
  • Perform and document cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Process licensed documents correctly in Tradesphere and keep records.
  • Prepare, stage, and ship products within required windows; verify counts with carriers.
  • Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments and verify against POs in ERP.
  • Deliver materials to internal areas and update records accordingly.
  • Support continuous improvement projects and maintain clean work areas and safety compliance.

Job Type: Full Time.

Shift: DayShift

Schedule: Monday- Friday 5:00am-1:00pm, Overtime available as needed.

Pay Range: $21.00- $22.50

Purpose & Responsibilities

Perform a full range of inventory control activities for parts, raw materials, and finished goods to support production, shipping, and receiving at Timken Aerospace - Keene, NH. Work from process sheets, prints, engineering specifications, and work instructions to ensure inventory accuracy, timely shipments/receipts, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records by performing and verifying inventory transactions (receipts, transfers, issues, adjustments) in the ERP system daily.
  • Issue components to assembly to satisfy daily, weekly, and monthly schedules, maintaining required records of issuances and other appropriate documents
  • Perform and document cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Ensure products requiring licenses or special documentation are processed correctly in Tradesphere (or equivalent) and maintain associated records.
  • Prepare, stage, and ship product within required shipping windows; ensure shipments are documented and carriers verify counts, sign, and date paperwork.
  • Receive, inspect, and process all inbound shipments from carriers (FedEx, UPS, third-party) and raw material vendors; verify packing slips against purchase orders and receive into the ERP system.
  • Deliver received materials and components to appropriate internal areas or customers and update records accordingly.
  • The above responsibilities cover the most significant duties performed but does not exclude other occasional work assignments not mentioned. The inclusion of which would be in conformity with the factor degrees assigned to this job.
  • Maintain necessary records and ensure that documentation procedures are followed.
  • Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to a leader.
  • Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
  • Train personnel as required.
  • Perform and be involved in continuous improvement projects as required.
  • Perform other related duties as required or directed.
  • This individual may generate and/or handle regulated (i.e. hazardous/non-hazardous) waste as part of this job. This must be disposed of in accordance with federal/state regulations

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to document processes and train others.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Situational/Spatial awareness along with strict adherence to PPE/safety protocols is required.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred.
  • Experience with Tradesphere or equivalent licensing/documentation systems preferred.
