Job summary

Good Day Farm seeks an Inventory Control Tech I to support warehouse operations and the inventory team. You will perform fundamental tasks with accuracy, maintain SOPs, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, documenting items in Monday Boards, counting, and assisting with reconciliations. A state badge and valid license are required, with potential forklift duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check.
  • Must be 25 or older (if driving included).
  • Valid Driver’s License with Class E endorsement or able to obtain within 30 days.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory software (e.g., Monday Boards).
  • Forklift certification preferred and experience operating pallet jacks.

  • Maintain accuracy to keep discrepancies at or below 1 error per day.
  • Assist with on-site supplier visits and deliveries/pickups.

Job Description

The Inventory Control Tech I is an entry-level role responsible for performing fundamental inventory and warehouse tasks. This individual supports the inventory team by executing established procedures with accuracy and efficiency. The role requires close attention to detail, adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and effective communication with team members and supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receiveand unload items from delivery trucks in a timely and organized manner.

  • Document received items using inventory platforms such as Monday Boards.

  • Store finished goods and packaging material in a clean, orderly fashion.

  • Deliver materials to workstations and storage points both physically and via digital systems.

  • Pull andstage packaging material for Resupply Requests or Jobs with a high degree ofaccuracy.

  • Performregular cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.

  • Relocateinventory and assist with cleanups and general warehouse maintenance.

  • Safelyoperate material handling equipment (MHE), including forklifts and pallet jacks(manual/electric).

  • Maintaintransaction rigor to minimize inventory discrepancies (target: ≤1 error/day).

  • Adhere tocompliance procedures as required by state regulations.

  • Follow allSOPs, operational guidelines, and verbal directives.

  • Maintainprofessionalism and a positive team-oriented attitude.

  • Seekguidance from senior team members and escalat discrepancies as needed.

  • Guide andmentor junior team members in task execution and warehouse best practices.

  • Train newinventory staff and serve as a resource for troubleshooting.

  • Act asliaison during on-site supplier visits, assisting with deliveries and pickups.

  • Assist inleading day-to-day warehouse operations.

  • Beeligible and maintain qualifications to be insured as a driver for companyvehicles.

  • Conductlocal deliveries and pickups using company-owned box trucks or freightliners.

  • Helpenforce safety procedures, inventory handling policies, and transactionintegrity standards.

  • Identifyopportunities for process improvement and communicate suggestions to theInventory Manager.

  • Maintain aprofessional demeanor, modeling company values and expectations.

  • Performother duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Mustbe able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check.

  • Must be 25 or older (if driving included in position).
  • Valid Driver’s License with Class E endorsement or must be able to obtain Class E endorsement

    within30 days of employment. (AR and MO).

  • Must have a clear Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain focus
  • Comfortable using and learning new software tools.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong ethics, reliability, and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other inventory software platforms (e.g., Monday Boards).
  • Forklift operation (certification preferred).
  • Skilled in use of pallet jacks (standard and electric).
  • Strong computer skills and basic math skills.
  • High attention to detail and organization.
  • Eligible to be insured as a driver for company vehicles (box truck/freightliner).
  • Experience guiding or leading small teams or training coworkers.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Comfortableinteracting professionally with external vendors and suppliers.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of inventory experience
  • Experience using data entry software (i.e., Excel)
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions (hot, humid, low light).
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Must wear personal protective gear as required.
  • Ability to operate and drive box trucks or similar delivery vehicles.
  • Must meet physical requirements to safely load and unload deliveries.
