Job Summary
Ensures that shipment or receipt of goods to and/or from various locations is accomplished. Demonstrates and leads with a sound knowledge of logistics and supply chain, materials management, and distribution/transportation processes and policies to meet the business requirements.

Job Responsibilities

1. Demonstrates and leads the material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
2. Demonstrates and leads work from a variety of source documents to verify quantities, parts, destinations, and timing.
3. Demonstrates and leads the use of machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging.
4. Demonstrates and leads the use, safe operation, and servicing of mechanical, motorized, or electrical equipment in the facilities work environment.
5. Performs specialized clerical and documentation duties as assigned by management.
6. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

1. 1-3 years of Team Lead experience.
2. Basic mathematical skills.
3. Inventory experience required.
4. Aptitude to learn statistical programming.
5. Ability to review process/system issues, identify root causes, and take actions to solve them.
6. Experience with demand/inventory planning systems.
7. Data querying from multiple sources.

Physical Requirements

1. Frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
2. Lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling items of varying weight.
3. Work from heights of up to 20 feet.
4. Work in environments with frequently changing temperatures.
