Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Wilmer, TX is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to coordinate personnel, equipment, and inventory to meet daily productivity goals and timelines. You will lead the site’s Inventory Department, ensuring accuracy and safety across inbound/outbound inventory and quality processes.

Responsibilities include audits, cycle counts, safety training, root cause analysis of discrepancies, and daily reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years of inventory planning or related supervision experience.
  • Experience leading hourly warehouse/operations staff in a high-volume environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory processes, audits, cycle counts, and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the accuracy of all inventory of both inbound and outbound product via Audits and cycle counts.
  • Report any conditions deemed to be unsafe to the Operations Manager or General Manager.
  • Ensures associates safety training, if applicable.
  • Directs inventory staff in completion of work to meet customer expectations.
  • Prepare and process daily reports; manage and issue reviews as required.
  • Oversees returns and damage area daily to ensure completion of product put away.

Join a company where your contributions help move the world forward—one shipment at a time.About the PositionThe Inventory Control Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to, functions pertaining to the assessment and coordination of personnel, equipment and inventory to meet daily productivity goals and timelines. Additional responsibilities include the monitoring and movement of physical inventory in order to maintain inventory accuracy, and the coordination of an accurate inventory, including but not limited to physical inventory, and High Jump. The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for the directing of all associates in the site’s Inventory Department and ensures that the inventory area meets the requirements of the customer and the site.
