Job summary

Anduril Industries in Rhode Island is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to lead the inventory control function across multiple production lines at a multi-product site. You will oversee a team, establish cycle counts, and partner with production and warehouse teams to maintain material flow.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or materials management in a manufacturing environment.

  • Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/INDEX–MATCH) and comfort working with large data sets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator who can work across functions and present to leadership.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Own cycle count programs, physical inventory counts, and reconciliation processes across all product lines.
  • Drive inventory record accuracy above target thresholds and investigate root causes when discrepancies arise.
  • Supervise and develop a team of Inventory Control Technicians; coordinate with Materials Associates.
  • Maintain segregated inventory tracking across multiple Maritime programs across the site.
  • Serve as a warehouse power user for ERP and WMS platforms and support system configuration.
  • Monitor and reconcile inventory variances; support financial auditing activities.
  • Ensure all material management practices comply with DFARS and government property requirements.
  • Act as the primary inventory liaison between warehouse, production lines, procurement, and Finance.
  • Identify and lead process improvements to scale across new product lines.
  • Develop and maintain inventory dashboards; report performance and trends to site leadership.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril is fielding the next generation of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) to tackle the extremely challenging industry demands of seabed exploration. Anduril has brought to the market a unique, ultra-long-range, full-ocean-depth platform, and a completely refreshed maritime vehicle and flexible manufacturing architecture that scales from "large" to "extra-large" vehicle sizes. ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for anInventory Control Supervisor to join our rapidly growing team in Quonset, Rhode Island. In this role, you will be responsible for standing up and leading the inventory control function at our multi-product manufacturing site, ensuring material accuracy and availability across multiple production lines. You will oversee a team of Inventory Control Associates, establish cycle count programs, drive root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies, and partner closely with production and warehouse teams to maintain uninterrupted material flow. This will require experience with inventory management systems (ERP/WMS), cycle counting methodologies, and a strong foundation in warehouse operations within a manufacturing or production environment. WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Inventory Accuracy & Control: Own cycle count programs, physical inventory counts, and reconciliation processes across all product lines. Drive inventory record accuracy above target thresholds and investigate root causes when discrepancies arise.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and develop a team of Inventory Control Technicians. Set priorities, assign work, and build a culture of precision and accountability. Coordinate with Materials Associates to ensure alignment across warehouse operations.
  • Multi-Business Line Operations: Maintain segregated inventory tracking across multiple Maritime programs. Ensure material movements, transactions, and adjustments are attributed to the correct business line to support the site's cost allocation model.
  • ERP/WMS System Ownership: Serve as a warehouse power user for ERP and WMS platforms. Support system configuration for multi-BL tracking, ensure transaction discipline, and troubleshoot system issues. Participate in ongoing systems buildout as the site scales.
  • Financial Stewardship: Monitor and reconcile inventory-related variances. Support financial auditing activities, lead physical inventory counts, and partner with the Production Finance Lead on inventory valuation and excess and obsolete (E&O) material management.
  • Compliance & Government Property: Ensure all material management practices comply with federal requirements, including the Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulation Supplement (DFARS) for government property accountability. Maintain audit-ready records at all times.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the primary inventory liaison between the warehouse, production lines, procurement, and Finance. Participate in the site's battle rhythm meetings and provide visibility into material status, risks, and constraints.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and lead process improvements to increase accuracy, reduce waste, and improve material flow. Implement standardized procedures that scale as additional business lines come to the site.
  • Metric Reporting: Develop and maintain inventory dashboards covering accuracy percentages, inventory turns, transaction discipline, shrinkage, and cycle count results. Report regularly to site leadership on performance and trends.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or materials management in a manufacturing environment
  • 1+ year of experience supervising or leading a team
  • Proficiency with ERP and/or WMS platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in a defense, aerospace, or government-contract manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Experience standing up inventory processes at a new or scaling facility
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001)
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certification or experience
  • Programming or scripting skills (Python, SQL) for data analysis and reporting automation
  • Experience managing inventory across multiple product lines or programs within a single facility

US Salary Range: $74,000 - $99,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
