Bachman’s Inc. in Maplewood, MN seeks an Inventory Supervisor for a full-time hourly role with Sunday-Saturday retail hours and starting at $20.00/hour.

You will hire, train, and supervise the inventory team, manage daily receiving, cycle counts, and stock accuracy, and coordinate with buyers and store leadership to ensure smooth operations and exceptional store presentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years retail supervisory or management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with POS, Windows, Email and Excel.
• Demonstrated strength in employee relations and customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move heavy pallets.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, schedule and review inventory team.
• Oversee daily receiving, reconcile inventory discrepancies, scheduling and stock maintenance.
• Supervise daily activities of the inventory team and provide direction.
• Assist in store operations in absence of store manager and lead stock team.
• Complete cycle counts and ensure cleanliness and merchandising of stock.
• Collaborate with Buyers on inventory issues and communicate with support departments.
• Follow best practices to ensure inventory accuracy and participate in year-end inventories.
• Assist with seasonal display setups and tear downs.

Inventory Supervisor- Retail Full-Time Hourly Position
Sunday-Saturday - Retail Hours
Starting at $20.00/hr

Supervisory Duties:

• Hire, train, schedule and review inventory team.
• Complete daily receiving of inbound freight, reconcile inventory discrepancies, scheduling and maintenance of stock team
• Supervise the daily activities of the inventory team and provide daily direction.
• Assist in managing of store operations in absence of store manager/assistant manager, provide work direction to stock team
• Complete cycle counts, ensure cleanliness of store, retrieve carts in parking lot, carry outs, merchandising hardgoods products
• Work with Buyers on inventory issues
• Communicate and problem solve with support departments via email, phone and in person.
• Follow defined best practices and process flows to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Participate in fall inventory and fiscal year-end inventory preparation.
• Assist with seasonal display setups and tear downs.

General Duties:

• Unload incoming shipments and transfer outgoing shipments.
• Identify variances from both internal and external vendors.
• Unpack, price, re-price and stock merchandise inside and outside.
• Prepare and update all required paperwork for internal and external vendor products and ensure accuracy in all inventories. Resolve any issues.
• Execute weekly cycle counts.
• Reconcile inventory errors using a systematic approach.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail supervisory or management capacity
• Good writtenand verbal communication skills.
• Good technical knowledge including POS, Window’s, Emailand Excel.
• Demonstrated strength in employee relations and customer service.
• High energy level with the ability to provide strong leadership, train, delegate and motivate staff.
• Able to lift product up to 50 pounds frequently, pull and pushheavy pallets regularly
