Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator in Westlake, LA. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, handling SAP transactions, and supporting cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to learn SAP. 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM schedule with pay starting at $21.35 per hour, in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to learn SAP and customer inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, and perform warehouse-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Execute inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records within SAP
• Research, identify, and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits
• Reconcile system inventory to physical inventory
• Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate variances
• Maintain inventory-related records and documentation
• Partner with operations team members to resolve inventory issues and support warehouse efficiency
• Ensure compliance with inventory control processes and procedures
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
