Job summary

Precision Fuzing and Sensors in Middletown, CT is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage cycle counts, kitting, and overall inventory to support production. The role interfaces with Materials Planning, Shipping & Receiving, and Production teams to ensure accurate, timely material flow.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in inventory management, familiarity with MRP systems, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; additional certs/CEUs preferred.
• 3–5 years of inventory management experience.
• Broad knowledge of manufacturing, procurement, or materials planning.
• Understanding and use of MRP systems/manufacturing processes.
• Strong oral and written communication; proficient with PC tools.

Responsibilities

• Support all inventory control requirements within the material department.
• Perform kitting for multiple Programs to support production schedule.
• Conduct transactions, cycle counts, and physical inventories as required.
• Reconcile Work orders with functional teams for timely closures.
• Maintain traceability for all hardware to ensure compliance.
• Interface with group leaders and assemblers to optimize production flow.
• Provide feedback to manager regarding part shortages and concerns.
• Lead by example to prevent errors and ensure policy compliance.
