Job summary

Vander-Bend, a division of Vantedge Medical, is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk II for our on-site California operation. This full-time role handles receiving, counting, kitting, and control of materials used in manufacturing, with emphasis on FIFO and accurate material receipts.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, updating VISUAL Manufacturing records, and maintaining Kan Ban systems. Requires a high school diploma and 2 years of related experience, plus ERP and Windows-based software

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 2 years related job experience.
• Understanding of ERP systems.
• 2 years of computer experience using Windows-based software.
• Basic arithmetic.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receives, counts, and stocks incoming material from various sources.
• Verifies and processes material receipts per company procedure.
• Performs cycle counts in inventory locations.
• Receives sub-assemblies from manufacturing into VISUAL MANUFACTURING.
• Assists Warehouse Supervisor or Shipping Manager as required.
• Develops and maintains Kan Ban carts for new assemblies.
• Maintains FIFO inventory.
• Maintains ACCESS reports using system BOMs for pulling kits.
• Pulls Kan Ban kits and records material shortages.
• Develops and maintains inventory locations in VISUAL MANUFACTURING.
• Ensures issuance of materials against assembly orders by bar-coding and receiving kits and materials.
