Job summary

ID Logistics US in Missouri is seeking an Inventory Control specialist to maintain accurate stock levels and support daily warehouse operations. This role collaborates with the Inventory Supervisor to verify inventory accuracy, reconcile cycle counts, and ensure precise records.

You'll perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, handle returned shipments, and maintain safety and quality standards. The position operates Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm–11:00 pm, at a rate of $20.50/hr with a $1.50

Qualifications

• High School diploma or 1 year related experience in inventory control.
• Knowledge of inventory management procedures and warehouse terminology.
• Skills in Excel and spreadsheets.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts daily as assigned.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies found through cycle counts and determine root cause of the problem.
• Pull slow moving or obsolete inventory as requested by the customer in order to dispose, salvage, or donate.
• Process returned shipments by unloading the trailer and determining what is first quality or damaged inventory.
• Ensure that all proper written documentation is signed off and filed.
• Participate and coach LTOs during physical inventories or samplings as requested by the customer to ensure the integrity of the inventory process.
• Conduct any search to locate products within the system. Adjust records when there are discrepancies.
• Take steps to correct and prevent discrepancies.
• Identify and research unique inventory occurrences to correct them prior to having to lock a bay or make an inventory adjustment.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards, in accordance with Food Safety Guidelines.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
