Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Lecanto, FL is seeking an Inventory Clerk to support department inventory counts, processing damaged or defective and returned merchandise, and coordinating with vendors for returns. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and timely replenishment.

You will work cross-functionally across departments to ensure proper stock status, re-wrap sellable items per guidelines, and uphold club policies. Regular attendance is essential for seamless store operations.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrates reliable, punctual attendance and a safety-conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute departmental inventory counts and process damaged/defective merchandise.
• Sort and return items to vendors while obtaining return authorizations.
• Re-wrap sellable merchandise using proper sealing and shrink-wrap.
• Maintain accurate stock/inventory status for damaged, defective, and returned merchandise.
• Review daily return reports and process merchandise recalls and recalls.
• Assist with salvage and donation merchandise orders as part of community programs.
• Follow count processes, vendor policies, and department safety standards.
