Job summary

HD Supply in Illinois is seeking an Inventory Clerk to serve as a first point of contact for inventory tasks in a distribution center. You will operate material handling equipment to move inventory within the facility.

Key duties include monitoring and recording receipts, completing cycle counts, auditing variances, investigating discrepancies, and assisting with proper inventory placement based on size and demand. A HS diploma or GED and 2–5 years of related experience are typically required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–5 years of inventory experience in a distribution/warehouse setting.
• Experience with cycle counts and inventory adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory within the distribution center by recording received and stocked merchandise.
• Complete and review cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
• Audit inventory to ensure systems align with daily order processing.
