Job summary

Lasko Products, a market leader in home comfort products, seeks an Inventory Control Specialist for our Ft. Worth, TX facility. You will monitor inventories, drive process improvements, and lead a team of 5 cycle counters to maintain accurate records and timely replenishment.

You will collaborate with purchasing, finance, and site managers, utilize MRP systems, and ensure compliance with safety standards while presenting performance reports to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management and control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly monitor inventory levels, raw materials, and finished goods to ensure accurate records and timely replenishment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements related to inventory control and develop and implement solutions.
  • Work cross functionally with corporate purchasing, finance, and site purchasing managers.
  • Work within the MRP system to ensure transactional processes are being followed.
  • Lead and perform regular inventory reconciliations to identify discrepancies and implement correct actions.
  • Audit plant material transactions, in addition to monitoring and auditing imported raw materials and finished goods.
  • Determine and implement processes around material movement within the organization.
  • Utilize historical data and demand forecasting techniques to optimize inventory levels and reorder points.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on inventory performance, key metrics, and action plans to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in handling and storing inventory.
  • Manage a team of 5 cycle counters.

Job description

Lasko Products, a market leader in home comfort products for over 100 years, is looking to add a highly motivated and detailed-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to our manufacturing facility in Ft. Worth, TX. The Inventory Control Specialist will help us maintain efficient inventory management practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regularly monitor inventory levels, raw materials, and finished goods to ensure accurate records and timely replenishment.
