Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is hiring an Inventory Specialist to ensure availability of parts for maintenance. You will handle ordering, receiving, stocking, and distributing parts to technicians and outlying locations, while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, inventory audits, processing warranty claims, and preparing purchase orders. A valid DOT card is preferred; strong MS Office skills and data entry are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate per standard inventory controls and procedures.
• Proficient with MS Office and data entry with accuracy.
• Experience handling parts, ordering, and vendor coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Issue replacement parts to mechanics and verify part numbers.
• Receive, unpack, and verify shipments from vendors.
• Stock and disburse parts to technicians and locations.
• Prepare purchase orders for parts and equipment.
• Perform weekly cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Process warranty claims and track credits.
• Maintain inventory records and present data to management.
