Job summary

STOW Group in Adairsville, GA is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain accurate inventory records and perform daily transactions in SAP/ERP systems.

You will conduct cycle counts, investigations, and coordinate with Warehouse, Production, Purchasing, and Planning to resolve discrepancies. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with safety procedures, and continuous improvement in material flow.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP/ERP systems.
  • Perform daily inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and material movements.
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and location errors.
  • Maintain accurate inventory locations and manage temporary location needs during expansion.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, Purchasing, and Planning teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Track raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and packaging materials.
  • Ensure inventory movements are properly scanned and documented.
  • Maintain records for damaged, missing, quarantined, or rejected materials.
  • Assist with root-cause investigations for recurring discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and storage practices.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of inventory control procedures and standard work.
  • Prepare inventory reports and provide information regarding accuracy, discrepancies, and material availability.
  • Follow safety procedures and warehouse standards.
  • Train employees on inventory handling and transactions.

Job description

The warehouse of the future is equipped with our autonomous robots instead of forklifts and our Atlas 2D pallet shuttles or tote shuttles that allow for high-density storage (no wasted space).

Job Description

Inventory Control Specialist - Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP/ERP systems.
