Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory accuracy, receiving processes, adjustments, and compliance routines within the store environment. The role collaborates with the Store Operations Manager to ensure efficient operations and accurate reporting.

The candidate should be comfortable with varying shifts, forklift operation, and performing duties such as BOPIS reconciliation and order processing.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience is preferred but not required.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Inspect forklift and propane use per requirements.
• Pull OMNI orders and support BOPIS reconciliation.
• Handle receiving, inventory adjustments, and transfers.
• Review inventory reports and complete required reconciliations.
• Operate forklift and other store equipment as needed.
• Complete all documentation accurately and timely.
