Job summary

Atkore International is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator based in Thomasville, GA, reporting to the Operations Manager. The role manages raw materials purchases and inventories, reconciles cycle counts of finished goods, and participates in physical inventory activities.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in inventory control, Lean experience preferred, and familiarity with JDE or Sage. Responsibilities include developing SOPs, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring timely deliveries for

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of inventory control experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred in business administration, management, or supply chain management.
• Knowledge of inventory control software (JDE, Sage) and basic math for counting and reconciliations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

• Administer inventory cycle counts (daily/monthly/annually) and enter adjustments into the system.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for inventory control processes.
• Receive and issue finished goods into the inventory control database.
• Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel using movement reports, receipts, counts, and packing slips.
• Utilize documentation to facilitate the cycle count process.
